Experience spans numerous companies and positions including Executive Officer roles across successful start-up companies (Perthera, Neuronix, Advanced Dx, NeuroMetrix, PrimeSource Healthcare), and leadership roles in Fortune 250 companies (Johnson & Johnson, Baxter and Kendall Healthcare). Gary has also served in Board roles from Chairman to Director to Advisor provided to 10 organizations. He is a proven executive leader with big company capabilities and a start-up company mindset.

He has led 5 growth driven start-ups in different clinical fields. His start-up leadership roles span EVP to multiple time CEO roles, where his efforts led to a highly successful IPO (NeuroMetrix), an acquisition (Perthera), technology sale (Advanced Dx) and company sale (PrimeSource). Gary initially built his career through several roles of expanding management responsibility across J&J, Baxter and Kendall.

Scott Anderson is a healthcare technology leader and clinical expert based in Silicon Valley.

He has led large multi-disciplinary healthcare organizations, rebuilding them to prominence through operational excellence, cutting edge research, and development/commercialization of clinical and performance products.

He is known for leading effectively through change, creating a clear organizational vision and culture, and collaborating with others to solve difficult problems that effect humanity. He is obsessed with the “three P’s” of building successful organizations.

In his role at SyncThink, Scott leads the product strategy through the identification of key external insights from providers, customers, and research collaborators while working closely with engineering, data science, sales, marketing and other members of the executive team.

John Mattiola has over 30 years of leadership experience and expertise across all sectors of healthcare. He has a strong track record of building top producing sales teams, creating strategic partnerships, and driving business growth. He brings a depth of experience across all aspects of the sales function and has held executive leadership roles in sales, marketing, corporate accounts, training, business development, operations and general management.

Babak joins the SyncThink team in 2022 as the Technical Lead. Babak has previously served as as senior software engineer supporting SyncThink since 2020, where his unique skillset and passion for developing medical products became clearly evident. Having completed his Bachelors in Computer Science from FAST-NU, he has become is an exceptionally skilled product leader and in the development of mobile applications. He is enthusiastic about continuing to learn and understand modern technologies, and has vast prior experience successfully designing products for the consumer market. His critical thinking and comprehension of minute details have been the core element in laying the foundation of robust and extensible software products.

Umesh Rajashekar received the B.E. degree in electronics and communication engineering from The Karnataka Regional Engineering College, India, in 1998, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from The University of Texas at Austin in 2000 and 2005, respectively. His dissertation involved an analysis of the impact of low-level image features on human eye movements. He was a postdoctoral fellow in the Laboratory for Computational Vision, New York University from 2006 to 2011 working on the perceptual quality assessment of images. He worked as a Scientist at the Brain Trauma Foundation in New York from 2011 to 2017 investigating the utility of eye movement metrics as potential indicators of attention. He has worked closely with SyncThink since 2011 assisting in the development of eye movement metrics.

Doug has 20+ years experience in general corporate law with major law firms and in-house counsel with public and private companies, focusing on health and sports technology.

Allison has more than 15 years of regulatory experience, with 10 years at the FDA and over 5 years in the medical device and biotech industry. At FDA, Allison provided specialized and strategic direction to academia, industry and government partners for alignment of novel, innovative medical device development efforts with regulatory expectations. Allison served as a policy and scientific adviser in several product areas including traumatic brain injury, IVDs, mobile medical apps, advanced physiological monitoring, critical care devices and conducted pre-market reviews for cardiovascular devices and combination products. Allison is currently using the valuable experience and knowledge gained at FDA to advise medical device companies on their regulatory strategies as they pursue marketing approval. Allison has a biomedical engineering degree from Virginia Tech, a graduate degree from Georgetown University in Biothreats and Emerging Infectious Disease, and graduated from the Harvard School of Public Health’s National Preparedness Leadership Institute.

Gordon Matheson MD, Ph.D. is a world-renowned primary care sports medicine physician, thought leader, and academic. He has authored more than 200 publications and given more than 250 lectures in 16 countries. He founded the Clinical Journal of Sports Medicine, chaired the Board Governance Committee for the International Justice Mission, served as an expert for the World Anti-Doping Agency, and headed the International Olympic Committee Disease Prevention Working Group. Dr. Matheson has also been a past President of the Canadian Academy of Sports Medicine, team physician for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League and the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association. As Professor and Director of Sports Medicine at Stanford University from 1994-2016, he established the first Head Division of Sports Medicine in the medical school and was a member of the Medical Senate. Dr. Matheson also taught many undergraduate courses at Stanford to students in Human Biology and established the fellowship program in primary care sports medicine. Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Board for Worldplay, a video technology company.

Kristen Steenerson, MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and Neurology at Stanford University. She specializes in otoneurology and brings unique expertise in the study of the relationship between the inner ear and brain disorders. Additionally, Dr. Steenerson’s clinical focus includes vertigo, vestibular migraines, postural-perceptual dizziness, and Ménière’s Disease. Dr. Steenerson is a board-certified Neurologist, and completed her Neurology Residency at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona, which is where she first found her interest in balance disorders. She also completed an Otoneurology fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute.

Jeffrey Kutcher, MD, FAAN is the founder and Global Director of The Sports Neurology Clinic. With offices in Michigan and Utah, Dr. Kutcher specializes in the diagnosis and management of concussion, post-concussion syndrome and neurological conditions in athletes. Dr. Kutcher was a member and co-author of the International Consensus Conference on Concussion in Sport in Zurich (2012) and Berlin (2016.) Prior to launching The Sports Neurology Clinic, Dr. Kutcher founded and directed the University of Michigan NeuroSport Program where he established the first fellowship in Sports Neurology in 2012. He has also founded the Sports Neurology Section of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), serving as the section’s first chair, and established and co-directed the annual Sports Concussion Conference for the American Academy of Neurology.

Dr. Kutcher is currently a Team Physician for US Ski and Snowboard and served as the Team Neurologist for the U.S. Olympic Team at the 2014 and 2018 Winter Games. He also serves as the Director of the NBA concussion program and works as an advisor to the National Football League (NFL) Players’ Association and National Hockey League (NHL) Players’ Association.

Maya Yutsis, Ph.D., ABPP-CN is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurological Sciences at the Stanford University School of Medicine. She is an Associate Director of the Clinical Core at the Stanford Alzheimer’s Disease research center, a Team Neuropsychologist for San Francisco 49ers, attending neuropsychologist for Stanford Concussion and Sports Medicine Clinic and Neuropsychology Centers. She specializes in sport-related concussions and their acute and late-life effects and brings unique expertise in the study of sport-related concussions and cognitive aging. Additionally, Dr. Yutsis’ clinical focus includes cognitive functioning in age-associated neurodegenerative conditions such as
Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease, autoimmune disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis, and developmental disorders such as ADHD. Dr. Yutsis is a board certified clinical neuropsychologist who completed her post-doctoral residency in neuropsychology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, clinical internship at the Minnesota VA Medical Center, and received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the Palo Alto University, in Palo Alto CA. Prior to coming to Stanford, she was the lead neuropsychologist at the VA Palo Alto Polytrauma Transitional Rehabilitation Program and for the Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center Telehealth Neuropsychology clinic.

Erin Isanhart PT, DPT, NCS studied at the University of Pittsburgh where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Sciences in 2004 and obtained a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008.  She earned her competency certification in vestibular therapy at Emory University in 2010.  In 2014, she became a Board Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist.  She has been working with individuals recovering from neurologic and vestibular disorders since the commencement of her professional career at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.  Erin continued her work at Stanford Health Care where she was involved in the establishment of the Stanford Concussion Clinic from 2014 to 2019.  She was recently appointed as Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh’s Department of Physical Therapy.  Erin is currently the owner of Angular Momentum Physical Therapy and is a consultant to the San Francisco 49ers to assist in the recovery of players in post-concussion protocol.

Dr. Herget is a Senior Physical Therapist, Sports Clinical Specialist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Certified Clinical Instructor and Certified Emergency Medical Responder at the MGH Sports Medicine Center and serves as the Rehabilitation Consultant to the MGH Sports Concussion Clinic and Boston Bruins and is a member of the New England Patriots Medical Staff. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Psychology from Wheaton College in 2000, her Masters in Education degree from SUNY in 2005 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2009.

Dr Herget’s practice includes rehabilitating athletes who have sustained a sports concussion, most specifically evaluating and treating high school through professional level athletes with concussions and assisting in their safe return to play. Her research has focused on management of athletes with post-concussion syndrome and the efficacy of pre-season and post-season visuo-vestibular testing to aid in return to play decision making as well as managing care for the female athlete triad diagnosis. She has lectured nationally on the topics of concussion and the non-acute management of athletes with post-concussive syndrome. Her clinical expertise is in the cervicogenic contributions and visuo-vestibular treatment of athletes who sustain concussions as well as the progression of exercise through exertional protocols. Additionally, Dr. Herget focuses her orthopaedic practice on the biomechanical assessment and management of lower quarter injuries.

Marie Boo, DPT, SCS, CSCS joined SyncThink as an advisor in 2018. As a physical therapist at Stanford University in the Department of Sports Medicine, she utilizes the SyncThink platform as a critical tool in her vestibular-ocular assessment and treatment. She also works closely with Dr. Ghajar as part of a multidisciplinary team managing Stanford student-athletes after sports-related concussions, and she advises the company on the growing use cases for how the technology can treat various conditions.

Bobby Jean Lee, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, SCS, OCS, CSCS, USAW is a Physical Therapy Clinical Specialist at Texas Health Sports Medicine (THSM) and Texas Christian University Athletics Department (TCU). She is the Clinical Outcomes Research Clinician and Team Lead for the Concussion Management Program at THSM. She is also Co-Owner of Clinic to Field Physical Therapy, a continuing education company specializing in Concussion Management. She graduated from California Lutheran University in 2011 with a B.S. in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine and Duke University in 2014 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She then completed a Sports Physical Therapy Residency at Ben Hogan Sports Medicine and a Manual Therapy Fellowship Program through the Institute for Athlete Regeneration (IAR). Bobby teaches as part of the Physical Therapy and Athletic Training Residency Programs at THSM and is faculty for the IAR Manual Therapy Fellowship. She is the current Vice Chair for the Concussion SIG for the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy. Bobby has been published in peer-reviewed journals and has been invited as a speaker at numerous local, state, and national conferences in sports medicine.

Chelsea Ortega PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS is a board-certified sports physical therapist and Regional Director at Evolution Physical Therapy and Fitness. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Sciences from UCLA in 2011 where she competed in NCAA Division I Rowing. Chelsea earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2015 from Duke University while also becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She completed her Sports Physical Therapy Residency at Ben Hogan Sports Medicine in 2016 and became a Board-Certified Sports Specialist in 2017. Over the years, Chelsea has worked with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes from a variety of sports including football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse. She specializes in concussion rehabilitation as well as return to sport activities. Chelsea served as the Physical Therapist and Strength and Conditioning Coach for the WNBA Las Vegas Aces for the 2021 Season and currently serves as a physical therapist and brain health specialist for the Premier Lacrosse League. Chelsea enjoys working with athletes and is passionate about bridging the gap between rehabilitation and sports performance. She has presented and taught at national conferences and is the Co-Owner of Clinic to Field Physical Therapy, a continuing education platform focusing on Concussion Education.

Frank R. Kline, BS MS is a well known Venture Capitalist, and is Chairman Emeritus of Kline Hawkes & Co. The firm managed money for well known institutional investors, such as CalPERS, Los Angeles County Employees Retirement System, and Pennsylvania State Employees.  Mr. Kline has directed investments in a number of highly successful companies over the years including AboveNet Communications (ABOV), Sensor Systems, O-2 Sciences, PaeTec Communications (PAET) to name a few.  A sought after speaker he has appeared at industry events around the world, and has served on the judging panel of Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award Program and served as a member of the Board of Governors for the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies (NASBIC).

Kerri-Lynn Primmer Morris is currently the Chief Technology and Product Officer for leading revenue cycle provider, SSI, overseeing innovation, product management and data strategy. Prior to SSI, Kerri-Lynn served as Microsoft’s Chief Technology Officer for Healthcare and Life Sciences. Kerri-
Lynn also currently serves as an advisor in the Mixed Reality and connected IoT space and is passionate about the potential that AR/VR/MR and IoT bring to healthcare. Kerri-Lynn previously held an executive role at Kaiser Permanente focused on driving the success of transformational
programs.

As a collaborative executive who truly believes that “a rising tide raises all boats”, Kerri-Lynn is a team player and problem solver at heart, who enjoys the process of designing a strategy and then leading through execution to results. She is known for building inclusive and highly successful
teams – her teams believe in her passionately, as with her leadership they rise as leaders themselves.

Kerri-Lynn is a co-founder of Sauvie Island School, a K-8 place-based education charter school in Portland, Oregon. She is also a competitive runner and multi-time Team Captain for the 200-mile Hood to Coast Relay, and the proud mother of three elite athletes. Kerri-Lynn began her career in consulting, holding various positions at both Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting.

Kerri-Lynn holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Catholic University of America.

Tom Pianta, MPT is a physical therapist with over 30 years of experience in clinical neuroscience, healthcare quality improvement, clinical trial management, and healthcare administration. Tom’s background includes leading the technical assessment oversight of multiple international clinical trials in ALS; being elected President of the Maryland Stroke Network Quality Improvement Committee; and being appointed to membership on the Maryland Governor’s Advisory Group on diabetes and stroke. Tom has led a Medicare Shared Savings Program Accountable Care Organization, and multiple contracts with a Medicare Quality Improvement Organization for improving diabetes care and reducing readmissions in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Tom received his BS in Psychology from the University of Connecticut in 1986, and his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Emory University School of Medicine in 1990.
